Lions club Golf Tournament is Saturday, July 26.

 

Harry is now chairman and needs the help of each member.  our tournament is popular because we give away many prizes.

 

We need door prizes.  Where could you as a Lions member get a door prize??

 

Some folks who have businesses can often obtain a gift item from their business.  If you do not have a access to your own business, you  might go next door to some one who has a business close to you, or maybe even a business that you shop with on a regular basis. Maybe you could get food gift certificates from someone where you eat fairly often. Maybe a gift certificate from cleaning service for the house, the car, or the yard.

 

Other ways  you might get an item to donate.  Some times we have been personally given a gift that is very  nice, but just does not fit our home or personality.  This might be the way to regift a good item for a good cause. Some of us have to purchase an item to help provide enough door prizes.  One time I purchased a bottle of pretty good wine. A crisp $20 or $50 bill would be a nice donation and a nice golf prize.

 

Harry has asked that each one of us bring a nice door prize or two.   He would really like for us to bring the door prize item to Lions on this Wednesday meeting.

 

Ditty bags are also important.  We need about 150 items (small) to be able to stuff the ditty bags with goodies to help the golfers.  If you have any of these items, please bring them to this weeks meeting.
